Mining

Areas and Maps have ore veins scattered around, depending on the biome. Each ore shows where it appears.

• You need a pickaxe in your bag (it does not take an equipment slot). Dorin, in Amber Vale, sells pickaxes, repairs worn ones and forges the Runic Pickaxe.
• Better pickaxes mine harder ores. Each use costs durability.
• One extraction takes a few swings; walking or attacking interrupts it.
• Ores and ingots go into your bag in stacks of up to 99. With a full bag, the rest drops on the ground.
• At the Forge's Smelting tab (Thorin), ore becomes ingots. Ores and ingots feed the Bench conversions and infusions.
• The deepest ore also gives one of the fragments of the Lair Key.
• Abyssal Ore only appears along the Abyssal Rifts in Maps. Smelted, it becomes Abyssal Ingot, which Dravo and Dorin use to forge the abyssal runes.
