Co-op
Playing in a group of up to 6 people over Steam: sessions, individual loot, portals and progression.
Draemony can be played in a group of up to 6 players, over Steam. Each person plays with their own character (the same one from Solo mode) and only saves their own progress.
Joining a session
In the menu, Multiplayer opens character selection and then the session list:
- Find session: public sessions and your friends' sessions, with name, host, open slots and whether a password is required.
- Create session: name, visibility (public, friends only or private, invite only), optional password and number of slots.
- Steam invites also work, even in the middle of a match.
How the group works
- Individual loot: each player only sees and picks up their own drops. Whatever someone drops from their bag falls for everyone.
- Portals and progression belong to each player: the Town Portal (B), reviving in town and moving on to the next area only affect whoever did it. The others get an invite to come along.
- Reviving an ally: whoever dies stays down with their spirit over the body. Walk up and hold Interact (E on keyboard, Y on a controller): a ring fills on the ground in 3 seconds and they get up right there, with 40% of their life and no experience lost. Reviving is not possible in the Trials.
- Instances: if the group already has an instance of an area, anyone who enters it lands in the same one. From an ally's portrait you can invite them to your instance or go to them.
- Monsters gain life and show up in greater numbers depending on the group size; experience from kills goes to everyone in the instance.
- In Maps, the group sees the same Abyssal Rift and fights together inside the Blood Vigil circle; the Vigil's Devotion and offerings window belong to each player.
- Lost the connection? The game tries to reconnect on its own and holds your place in the group for a while.
- Nobody unlocks areas for anybody: entering an area through the group follows the same rules as Solo.
