Endgame up to level 100: Maps up to tier 25 and the Awakened Xinoqs

A level 100 hero with good gear walked through tier 16 and Xinoqs without breaking a sweat. This update takes the endgame all the way to 100: higher content, monsters that keep up with your hero and rewards worth the climb.

Tier 17 to 25 Maps

  • Tiers 17 to 25 only exist in the endless frontier of the Codex of Worlds. The first band of the frontier has tiers 13 to 16, and each deeper band goes up one tier, up to 22 to 25.
  • Tier 17 is level 78, and tier 25 reaches level 98. The table with every tier is on the Endgame page.
  • Above tier 16 a map stops adding life and damage per tier: what goes up is the area level and the depth of the frontier. The Heart of the Echo is still the pinnacle, at tier 16.
  • Being many levels above the monsters now helps less: at most 20% more damage dealt and 20% less damage taken. Being below them still weighs the same as before.

Awakened Xinoqs

  • Sigil of Awakening: sometimes drops from tier 21+ Map bosses.
  • After your first victory over Xinoqs, Azkar combines a Lair Key and a Sigil of Awakening into an Awakened Key.
  • The Awakened Key opens the Lair at level 100, with a much stronger Xinoqs (x2.5 life and x1.38 damage on top of the level) and better loot: a better chance of a unique, more currency, more Key fragments and items above level 100.
  • With both keys in your bag, the gate asks which Lair to open.
  • The numbers of the fight are on the Xinoqs page.

Better drops for your class

  • Part of the gear that drops is now rolled among the bases your class uses. Weapons that suit you became much more common for every class.
  • Fewer white items in high Maps: the chance of a normal item drops with each tier, and the rarity and quantity of gear go up a little. At tier 16, white items went from about 58% to around 32% of the gear.
  • Bad luck protection at Xinoqs: each victory without your class's unique raises its chance on the next one. On the normal Xinoqs it is guaranteed on the 35th victory in a row without it; on the Awakened, on the 15th.

Top affixes: T1+ and T1++

  • Two new affix tiers arrive above T1: T1+, on items of level 84 or higher, and T1++, from 92. They are rare rolls and show up in most groups. The values are on the Affixes page.
  • The base roll now counts up to the highest base in the game, so a high-level item no longer drops the same as a level 75 one.
  • The highest affix tiers became rarer overall, and monster life from level 45 onward grows a little less to match.

Passive tree and world map

  • The two class branches of the passive tree (V key) now need a level: the first node needs level 12, and the notable at the end of the branch needs level 33. Older characters get their passives back once to spend again.
  • On the Waypoint world map, a single click on an unlocked location takes you straight to its entrance. Right-click (or Y on a controller) picks which discovered Waypoint of that area to arrive at.

Two new achievements

  • Edge of the Frontier: complete a tier 25 Map.
  • A hidden achievement tied to the Awakened Xinoqs. Just like on Steam, it stays hidden until you unlock it. On the Wiki, every achievement is on the Achievements page, and the hidden one sits behind a spoiler warning.

The Wiki already shows all of this with the game's own numbers: the level of each tier, the T1+ and T1++ affixes, the Sigil of Awakening, the Awakened Key and the Awakened Xinoqs.
